Postage outside UK

It is the users responsibility to select the correct postage, UK 2nd Class (up to 2kg) is insufficient funds for European or International posting. If the correct postage is not selected Emma's Soap has the option to cancel the order and refund the order cost.  However Emma always endeavours to make sure your order is processed and she will advise via email or PayPal invoice if further sums are required.

Payment is processed through Stripe, (we choose Stripe for their ethos, especially as they have an option that allows customers to contribute to combating climate change at the checkout), you can either pay by using your credit or debit card or select to pay via Paypal, we also offer the option to pay by telephone and will endeavour to call you for payment within 12 hours of your order.

We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

If you do not wish to pay via Paypal you can continue through to the payment screen so that your order is logged by our website and then complete your order by calling us directly on 01803 770 109 to arrange payment. We will suggest this to be in the form of a cheque, which we will need to receive and bank before dispatching your goods.
Royal Mail First Class service states 2-3 days for delivery with Second Class service taking 5 days. Your order will be processed within 24 hours and dispatched with the next available service. Orders received before midday Monday to Friday usually are dispatched the same day.

UK Mainland orders will be sent by Royal Mail, if you are not at home to receive your parcel, Royal Mail's standard procedure is to return the parcel to the local sorting office and leave you a note stating the fact whereas Parcel Force will take your parcel to the local Post Office and a Courier back to their depot. Alternatively you could always leave a note to postman/postwoman and/or delivery driver with alternative delivery arrangements at your own risk. If you would like us to print any instructions on your parcel, please state this at checkout in the comment box.

Delayed/Lost Orders
We use Royal Mail as a delivery service for small parcels, a parcel is considered lost after it has been in the postal system for a period of 14 working days for UK orders and 21 days for International orders. Though it is highly unlikely deliveries will take this amount of time, we are unable to dispatch a replacement until this period of time has elapsed. Emma's Soap is not responsible for any direct or indirect loss or damage incurred by a customer due to delayed or lack of delivery of goods regardless of the method of delivery.

Incorrect addresses, business addresses & PO Boxes
We are not responsible for the loss of your order if the delivery address provided by you at checkout is incorrect or incomplete. If you have selected to have items sent to a business address, ensure you have permission from the addressee, we recommend that you select and pay extra for recorded delivery too. If your address is incorrect or incomplete, or you do not have permission for a parcel to be accepted on your behalf, your package maybe returned to Emma's Soap (sender address is always written on the parcel) in such circumstances an extra delivery charge will be incurred to re-deliver your order to a corrected address. Please note that couriers will not accept PO Box numbers, many PO Box numbers can not take small parcels.
You have purchased Emma's soap which is wrapped in Organic fair trade cotton, a reusable material. The soap is first wrapped in a quilon and chlorine free parchment paper, the label is printed in vegetable ink on recycled card attached with raffia. All these items are compostable.

Please re-use the Jiffy envelope a reusable label has been provided to cover the address, alternatively this can also be composted.

Gift boxes can be reused or recycled.
Cellulose and cornstarch bags can be composted.

To complete Emma's zero to land fill policy, the outer casing that carries your product through the mailing/courier service will be recycled, it could be a potato or apple box, even a shoe box, basically a sturdy clean box having a second life. Emma's Soap does not use single use plastic courier bags.

Paper - Recycle - Compost - make a paper Fire Block
Once you have finished with any of your vitally important correspondence and are sure you no longer need the contents, then we suggest you shred it, soak it and press into a paper brick. Returns, Exchanges and Cancellations
We want you to be absolutely delighted or completely satisfied with all your purchases from Emma's Soap for any reason, we offer no hassle refunds and exchanges.
Simply return your unopened purchases in their original packaging and in good condition to us within 14 days of receipt, clearly stating that you would like a refund. We will then reimburse the full value of the returned goods. The cost of returning goods to us for refund is the responsibility of the purchaser and we take no responsibility for lost or for goods damaged in transit when being returned to Emma's Soap.
Simply return your unopened purchases to us within 14 days of receipt. We will then despatch replacement goods straight away. A re-delivery charge (at our standard rates) will apply.
You can cancel an order by emailing quoting your Emma's Soap order number. If you have already been sent an email confirming despatch, it will not be possible to cancel your order. If your goods have been despatched, please simply return your purchases to us by following our refund instructions.
Statutory Rights
These Terms and Conditions of sale do not affect your statutory rights.

Please be aware that product colour and texture variations occur occasionally, and naturally as part of the handmade manufacturing process and nature of the raw plant ingredients we use.
